Blast from the past.

This quilt is home now.
It's been away for THREE years with my daughter at school.
It's a soft and old fashioned looking quilt.

They're both home now for a while.
I DID wonder if this soft quilt would
hold up to college dorm life!


It DID!
You can see I used what I had......
Even the whites are not all the same.
I LOVE the challenge of USING what I have
when making quilts!
'Cause I have a LOT.

I used the bigger pieces on the back.

My daughter must like this quilt....
She's still using it!

    A great comfort 'make me feel like home' quilt for a dorm quilt. It looks like it has been well loved.

    What's not to like about such a beautiful quilt! I love making "stash only" quilts... and yours turned out great!

    very pretty! I had a quilt my sister made me that i used all through college too, nothing like a worn quilt to curl up in and study!!

    Lovely! I've made all my daughters a college quilt and they all loved them (and kept them pretty nice, too.)

    Isn't it nice when our kids show apreciation of something that we made for them? This quilt is very pretty,it is impossible not to love it.
