wonderful wednesdays for me.
I was given a few more scraps again today.
Why do these little pieces of days gone by
get to me??
Why do I love them so much?
I don't know.
But I do.
There isn't much here.
I really want to go play with them right now!!!
But I can't.
I need to deal with THIS.
and this.
and this.
Lots of celery with no place to go.
I AM adding it to a recipe that doesn't call for it.
Hope the spaghetti sauce doesn't mind.
I'm chopping and dreaming of fabric.
Old fabric.
Beautiful fabric.
What kind of quilt block will I use it in?
What did someone use it for years ago?
I love to dream.

I'm going to add this to creative
spaces over at kootoyoo.
Can't wait to see what you make with these lovely scraps of fabric.
ReplyDeleteMaybe there is a quilt pattern with Speghetti in the name. You need to look for one. I can almost see it now. It's red.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, you can chop celery and freeze it to go in recipes later (just in case you didn't know!) and is that owls in that fabric on the right? Very cool stuff! I've got some neat scraps of vintage stuff that has come in some of the donation bags we've gotten and I'm trying to come up with something neat for them, too. It is fun to wonder what it was used for long ago...
ReplyDeleteOh my, are those Owls? That fabric is great.
ReplyDeleteFabric to veggies - it's all fabulously yummy!
