Monday making- stars and squares

I am making a sweet sweet baby quilt with a small stack of fat quarters.
They were a gift.
Not the colors I would have chosen.
But...
I am loving these stars!

With 14 fat quarters I will have plenty for a small baby quilt.

I also did a little charity quilting.
The quilt top was made by someone in my quilting guild.
I quilted it simply with some wavy lines.

Even simple quilts are special...don't you think?

what are YOU making this week??

  2. Those stars are great. The yellow and grey look very good together. Good for you for working outside your comfort zone.

  3. Love that yellow and grey baby quilt. The design is great and so are the colors. I made my niece a baby quilt in those colors a couple of years ago. That was the color scheme of the nursery.

  4. The yellow and gray Star quilt is wonderful! And good for you for using colors that aren’t among your favorites. That’s always a challenge for me.
