ReplyDeleteI love this block, too! Would be a great scrap buster! I, too, set out to sketch this without y-seams - I agree with Elaine, it could be made with 4 snowballs. But I like the hst method (as Vee suggested), as a 9-patch. I've got a big box of plaids just calling to make this block!

ReplyDeleteIt's awesome! I would love one of these but I would make it as 4 hatchet blocks. Not too happy with lots of y-seams, they take too much time
