I played with some old favorites this week.
This one is called “patience” when using 9 patches.
I made mine with 7 patches...but the look is the same.
:)
Alternating the lights and darks makes a beautiful quilt pattern!
I also tried this rolling stone block in a few colors.
And.......I had to make some SCRAPPY!
Both of these blocks were featured on
my youtube channel this week.
What are YOU making this week??
I love your Patience quilt. Would you be upset if I made something similar?
ReplyDeleteImitation is the highest form of flattery. 😉
DeletePatience looks great - I love the reds and blacks. I never have made a rolling stone block.
ReplyDeletePatience is looking really good!

I love both of these blocks, very pretty! How is King's Crossing coming along? Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteI finished my kings cross quilt top. I thought I had shared that....guess I'll mention it soon here. I DO need to quilt it!
DeleteBoth sets of blocks look great. Happy stitching this week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks - but called patience? ha ha -that is not in my nature ;-) and what a cool quilt it will make!!!
ReplyDeletedefinitely not my nature either! LOL
DeleteVery pretty. I love the rolling stone blocks. thank you for the linky party.
ReplyDeleteThat really looks nice and it’s a great idea to make it seven pieces rather than nine.
ReplyDeleteI like the design that is emerging with your 7 patch/9 patch. It took me a minute to see the 7 patch and then it completely disappeared in front of me and another design took shape. I love it when that happens.
ReplyDeleteSo many inspiring projects. 😄
