This week I took a vintage quilt.....
(purchased a while back at a thrift store)
copied the block.....
and made a pillow sham to match.
It's not a perfect match....
but I STILL love it!!

What are YOU making this week??
We don't have to be all match-matchy. It looks great with the quilt. I hope you have "recovered" from the wedding. Are they going to be living close to you?ReplyDelete
It looks fabulous and looks great with the quilt.ReplyDelete
Love the old quilt, the pillow looks fantastic with it! Happy stitching!ReplyDelete
Looks great! From the photo you can't tell it's not an exact match.ReplyDelete
That's such a wonderful find and your sham looks perfect to me.ReplyDelete
Love the vintage quilt and your sham is perfect! You find get the BEST thrift shop finds, so pretty! Have a good week!ReplyDelete
Maybe not a perfect match...but pretty darn close!ReplyDelete
I think it looks great.ReplyDelete
That's a lovely pillow and it looks like it was made with the quiltReplyDelete
Yours is made more accurately than the original... on which I see points disappearing into seams! I picked up an old quilt made about 100 years ago, that I made blocks similar and just need to set them with setting squares of alternate fabric. I think it is TIME I got to that project! Love yours, so '30! (I love '30's fabrics, most of my current projects are in 1800's reprints.)ReplyDelete
That is a super fun idea! I am really getting into pillow making (mentally). Love this one, and yes, it goes great with your vintage quilt. That was a wonderful find!ReplyDelete
