I am SO close to finishing all the applique blocks
for my Sally Post Floral quilt.
The pattern is from sentimental stitches.
I LOVE the variety of flowers and the colors in this soon to be quilt!!
It is not a fussy quilt.
I am cutting sort of free form
and placing the pieces in a way that suits me.....
Using the pattern a guide.
It has been hard to keep my mind on household things
as I try to get JUST ANOTHER STITCH in!!
there were lots of cabbages this year...
So I had to figure out something SIMPLE.
I am attempting sauerkraut.
We'll see how it turns out!
I finished the twins quilts
and I'm so happy with them.
They are different but the same.
The grand baby twins can NOW arrive anytime they like.
I am READY.
What are YOU making this week???
I used to make sauerkraut, we loved it. It was more mild than purchased kraut and not as salty too. Your Sally Post blocks are beautiful. I'd want to keep appliqueing too, forget about meals and housework! Happy Stitching!ReplyDelete
Love your flower garden in progress. Those are such pretty blocks. The twins quilts are such fun. You've had a busy week and productive week.ReplyDelete
This is beautiful!! Love the applique. Maybe I need another project?ReplyDelete
Looks like you will have a fun quilt ready to be finished soon.ReplyDelete

Aren't the twin quilts adorable?!! Congrats on being super close to finishing the applique quilt. I can imagine it feels so good to be at that point!ReplyDelete
Your applique blocks are lovely! I was surprised that you are free cutting them as I would probably make a mess without a pattern of some sort! I certainly understand about "just another stitch"! ;) Your gardening updates are enjoyable to read! Take care and thank you for hosting!ReplyDelete
What a lovely field of appliqued flowers! Good luck with the saurkraut which I love too and apparently is really good for you.ReplyDelete
Definitely lovely flower blocks! Hope your sauerkraut goes well - you can send a jar my way!ReplyDelete
Your applique looks wonderful. What an accomplishment to get them all done. I can't wait to see what it becomes. And thanks for having Monday Making; I look forward to it each week.ReplyDelete
Ooh, you are expecting TWIN GRANDBABIES?!! How did I miss this?! How EXCITING!! I love the "same but different" quilts you made for them! What is the Estimated Arrival Date for these precious bundles of joy?ReplyDelete
