I have a fascination with orphan blocks.
I love figuring out how to get them together.
I love the controlled chaos they create.
Or...
maybe you think it's not all that controlled???
I love giving beautiful handwork
a home.
;)
I love the motion all those lovely points give this quilt!!!
I hope to give this quilt top a few calming borders.....
That's ALL it needs!!!
Many orphans make a MARVELOUS quilt!!!!
YOU make them into marvelous quilts!!! Beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love playing with orphan blocks (or not so orphan, but loosely related) blocks, too. Yours is going to be lovely. Can't wait to see it, with it's calming borders and quilted and bound!
ReplyDeleteThat is just beautiful, Beth! I agree with you about the motion the points give it - very nice!!!
ReplyDeleteLove!
ReplyDeleteYou always manage to make these little orphan blocks look like a little planned family :) Great job!
ReplyDeleteThat looks absolutely fabulous!! I recognize some of those blocks, and I'm glad they went to a good home. I love the way you've put them together!
ReplyDeleteYou really know how to make those orphans look right at home. That is such a wonderful combination of movement and colour.
ReplyDeletePerfectly lovely :0)
ReplyDeleteI don't think you could have planned a better
quilt .
Happy Sewing

ReplyDeleteStunning!!
ReplyDeleteYou do such great work with orphans! I love putting them together, too... or, I used to. Lately I have been feeling my mojo slip away. If you ever want more orphan blocks, just say the word!
