Light and Dark

I pulled out an unfinished quilt today.
 
 
This....
Is what I really SHOULD be doing.
I should get these quilt tops
sandwiched and quilted!!!
It was on my LIST to do this week!

But...
Today...I need the peace and calm
of LIGHT and DARK.
 
Pick up a light.
Pick up a dark.
Sew.
Repeat.
 
There is a serenity in quilting I love.

    I do appreciate the calm and bliss that comes from sewing fabric together. I would not be called a patient person but when it comes to quilting I find resources I did not know I had.

    Absolutely. Some days it takes sewing machine work and little bits of fabric just to get through the day.:)

    I sure get that......meditation at the sewing machine is how I like to think of it. I got some in yesterday and it felt terrific,
    I'm gonna try and get to it tonight too.

    Interesting unfinished quilt! Sometimes they are best to remain dormant, but this one is beautiful! Can't wait to see the final picture!
