Wednesday

Today...
I made some more blocks for

It's fun choosing the fabrics to make each 9 patch!
I'm trying to include Black and RED...
Turquoise.....dots......yellow......
Green.....etc.....
Just can't stop with a FEW colors..now...can we???

Each 4" strip
yields enough for TWO nine patches!

While I was sewing...
My SWEET daughter did MY job!

She harvested the tomatoes, onions and peppers..
Then....
Put it all in the crock pot!!!
We'll have Spaghetti Sauce
ALL WINTER LONG!!!
AND.....
I'll think of her HARD work
EVERY TIME I serve it!
;)

In between sewing...
my Granddaughter found some NEW TOYS!!!
(grandma's T-shirt yarn)
LOL!!!!

  10. Helpful kids sure do make it easier to get into the sewing room! Just this weekend, my soon-to-be 10 year old said, "I'll do the dishes, Mom; you go sew." He didn't have to ask me twice! Streak of Lightning is looking good!

  12. How will you preserve the sauce, canning or freezing? I always like freezing... My mom canned, but I just never got into it.

Love the lightening blocks. So pretty! But then, I don't think I've ever seen a dud on your blog.

What a gorgeous yarn model! Sweet to have your family so close by.
    You are really lucky.
