Making table mats is something I really like to do.
I'd call them table runners....
but they're always a BIT short.
I have a drawer with my little collection.
And sometimes I'll give one or two away.
This little table mat has been traveling around with me.
I'm finally DONE!
There was the piecing..
There was the embroidery...
then.... the hand quilting.
It saw me through meetings...
and most recently...
a CAMPING TRIP!!!
The binding is on!!!
I'll be stitching that down on the back!
That makes the sewing so SWEET!
Well, I just love these!!! Can they be used like placemats too? Do you mind sharing the measurements or does it matter what size they are. I just love these.ReplyDelete
This is really cute! It makes me think of a placemat. It would certainly make a cheery addition to a lunch box, almost like a tiny little picnic blanket :)ReplyDelete
I really love these! So lovely!ReplyDelete
The new one looks lovely. Red and White.. always so pretty! :)ReplyDelete
It is so pretty. The embroidery adds SO MUCH!ReplyDelete
It is gorgeous! I love the colours. And the embroidery is fabulous. I am hoping to try my hand at some embroidery later in the year once I figure out how to get the supplies past my husband (he thinks I already have to much craft 'stuff')ReplyDelete
Beautiful. I love the patchwork plus quilting plus the additional touch of embroidery.ReplyDelete
pretty Beth! love the embroidery touches.ReplyDelete
Beth - that is so lovely! I really enjoy making small tablerunners also!ReplyDelete
So nice and I love the little bit of embroidery. It makes it so special!ReplyDelete
Fresh and pretty. The flower embroidery is just the perfect accent on this.ReplyDelete
Oh I love it. I always have something along with me too. Can't sit idle for long. I love doing hand work too.ReplyDelete
Nice job - I love the colors and the embroidery!ReplyDelete
Your latest runner is pretty. I love to take handwork away with me too.ReplyDelete
Lovely cheery table runner .... Especially with the vase of flowers. I love the embroidery.ReplyDelete
Very creative! Simple, but soooo sweet.ReplyDelete
It looks great! I love that shade of red with white. So cheery - it reminds me of eating summer fruit with a tall glass of cold traditional lemonade. :)ReplyDelete
