Wow! That was one ambitious project! Let me guess... it didn't make nearly as big of a dent in your stash as you had hoped! Happens to me all of the time! I did one postage stamp quilt years ago... that thing is soooo heavy now that it is quilted! Trudy
Love, love, love it! I was wondering about the weight, but Keep Stitchin answered my question in her comment. Wow! How are you going to quilt your top, Beth?
Oh yes the uniformity of the white running up through the quilt really keeps it from being a scrap riot.....terrific job. Please tell me you are not going to hand quilt this huge quilt! It is making my hands ache just to think about it.
Beth, did you notice the one in the 12th row down, 8th across???? Well, you're right! It's straight and square! haha......what an ambitious project......it is beautiful!
That is beautiful, and what an incredible way to use up scraps! Very nice, almost makes me want to break out the tiny scraps! Son has a dentist appointment this morning, tho, maybe later today.... ;)
Singing and dancing and merry making in Northern Idaho just for you - you are quite the 2" square rustler! Well done. You should be having quite a party over this one - I think I'd be running through the neighborhood with it.
It's marvelous, Beth! And I bet it's heavy, with all those seams. Now comes the fun of quiting which will no doubt be a project in itself. Well worth the time spent on it though. You've done a very good job.
Amazing! Congratulations! I love the white stripes through it--can you tell me how you constructed it to get the white through it? I would love to do that once I have enough two inch squares to play!
