Monday Making

I was able to get a NEW quilt onto my daughter’s bed this week.
Yeah!
The quilt top has been folded up...waiting.....for quite a while now.
It needed just one more row to get it long enough.

The row was added and I even got it quilted!!!

I was so happy to get this finish in using LOTS of happy scraps!

Scrappy quilts are THE. BEST.

What are YOU making this week??

  1. As I say YEA for a finish. And a scrappy one is best as you are making something beautiful out of leftovers. Great job. It really is sweet.

  4. Love your quilt. I love when you can sew strips and they don't have to be the same size so no seams to match up, except the long strips of course. Good job- bet she's happy with her new pretty quilt top :)

  7. The rows of ripply strips look just great! And the low-volume assortment is soothing.

  9. What a lovely quilt. It makes me smile and my New England thriftiness appreciates everything about this quilt. The quilt ‘sings’ a sweet melody.
