Handwork

Hand stitching is so satisfying.

I love adding contrasting color to patchwork!

and when the project is small...
well...
I goes so FAST!!!

It made me REALLY want to get going on a bigger quilt!
Just need to get a quilt sandwich made and get GOING!!
Just.
Haha!

These little mug rugs will be gifted soon
with a mug!
Yeah for simple practical little gifts!!
Homemade makes me happy!

Homemade is also nice in the kitchen.
This is an excellent pie that takes NO TIME at all.

I bought a ready made crust
and filled it up.
Easy peasy.

  4. Cute little mug rugs. Great idea to add the stitching to the simple log cabin ( my favorite) block. And the pie....reminiscent of sour cream raisin (my late father's fav). thanks for the link!

  5. Love that quilt block. Some day I'm going to get brave enough to make a quilt with a white background.

  6. "Just" always takes longer than you think. Very fun mug rugs. Hope you enjoyed your slow stitching and your pie.
