When my friend showed me this quilt top made by her grandmother.....
I told myself......"you have the right kind of friends!" ;)
Love...love....love the fabrics!
That's my kind of quilting!
I am SO tempted to work on something like this......
Oh my! When am I NOT going to be tempted to BEGIN something?

you do have the right kind of friends! oh go ahead........you know you wanna........LOL I too start too many and finish too few. but I can live vicariously through you LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat looking top! Please get your friend to document the date, place, and name of the maker on a label. Perhaps she can get it quilted?
ReplyDeleteShe will quilt it and I'll remind her to add the info. ;)
DeleteI suspect many of us will stop being tempted to begin new things when we are able to stop looking at the work of others (may that day NEVER come!) . . . This one is grand, indeed!
ReplyDeleteNow wouldn't this be a nice little sew along ?
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt and fact that it is going to get quilted by the
granddaughter. See it's okay to leave some things not finished :0)
Happy Sewing
