Tuesday

I finished another t-shirt quilt today.
I've made a few of these now and
this one was BY far the most challenging.
Why???

Because the new owner wanted a FUZZY blanket included.
:0
Really???

I said yes...and then realized later I had agreed
to the IMPOSSIBLE.

IF....
Someone asks you to use a blanket in their quilt.
SMILE.
And just say...
NO.

I did have a battle with this quilt...
and I've decided that I DIDN'T WIN!
 :(
It was a TIE!

  2. Oh, but you chose the right stitching - I use my long serpentine with those slippy difficult fabrics - keep it simple.

  8. You made me LAUGH!!! I was making a quilt for a friend with cancer and decided he needed a fuzzy back too! It wouldn't even go thru my machine so I had to take it to a longarmer that GLARED at me but got it quilted. She told me 'never again'...of course, she showed it to her quilt group and they all WANTED ONE.

  9. Well, you might think it won but it looks good from here. I put a fuzzy back on one of the baby quilts I made and that was enough for me! I swore never again. The baby loves it and I'm glad but I still won't make another one. I like to have never got all the fuzz off my clothes and off the mat and out of the machine. I sneezed forever too! What a mess. Looks good, check that one off and say NO to the next time!
