Company!

Quite FREQUENTLY....
I make a quilt....
JUST because!

Well....
that little pile of quilt tops
came in HANDY today!!!
;)
These two are engaged
and I WANT to give them a quilt!

I realized I have quite a few quilt tops to choose from...
so....
I might not have to start from SCRATCH!

I invited them over to do some looking!

This is the one they like!
I'll make it bigger before the BIG DAY!

And......
Here are three that ALMOST got chosen.

I'll have to fold these up for the next "occassion"!

This gives me encouragement to....
KEEP MAKING quilt tops JUST BECAUSE!

They will find GOOD homes before you know it!

  1. Mmm, I love those wonky disappearing 4-patch blocks of yours; I would pick that one myself!

  2. Oh, yes, I KNEW there was a good reason to keep making tops faster than I can quilt em! Congrats to the couple, and I look forward to seeing that beautiful quilt on your blog a few more times.

  3. For some reason that quilt top looks like it just "fits" them! Can't wait to see the final product! Congrats to the happy couple. Jenn

  5. It is always a good idea to have those quilts around. It eventually will be revealed as to why it was made.

  6. Full disclosure - I really dislike the D9P pattern, especially when made with a charm pack. I find them totally devoid of any personality.

That said, your quilt is FABULOUS!!!!

I love the use of the stripes with a consistent background color (made up of various fabrics).

I'm going to grab a bunch of skinny stripes and make my own. It's the best combo I've seen used for this pattern.

    FABULOUS!!!!!

Oh, and congratulations to you and the couple.

  11. I have a box of tops also. No matter how many are in there, I still keep making them...

    Great design.
