Little Boy Blue

I'm done!
It was kind of a RACE to the end!
I wanted to be done!!!
I wasn't real excited about this one.
Does that ever happen to you?

Last night when I had all the little squares together it was fine.
But this morning....
It wasn't fine.
I thought it was kind of.....
boring.

I went ahead and finished it up though.
I HAD thought I'd use that print in the borders...
but I didn't.
Just can't make up my mind sometimes!
:/
Wishy Washy....I think they call it.

It IS nice and soft!
Can't complain about that part!!!
;)

Do we have to love ALL of our quilts
EQUALLY?
oooooh! I hope not.

  1. I think it is a sweet quilt for a precious baby.
    Your work is really nice.

  2. We definitely don't have to love them all equally. There are some that I just want to hold onto and look at and stroke forever, and others that go directly into an armoire once they are done. Great, and quick, job!

  3. It's gorgeous, not everything needs to be flashy, sometimes disceet is good.

  5. I think it's a lovely quilt, Beth - not every quilt has to be exciting! But I know what you mean - you want to love each of your "children" equally!!

  6. Now see, I love it. Scrappy (blue always adds in my bood), simple, eye moveing appeal, and like a baby quilt simply quilted so it has a hug in it.

  7. It is a darling quilt and I'm sure it will be very loved. And, no. You don't have to love them all equally. :-)

  9. What a beautiful quilt!
I know indent love all my quilts the same. Some I have to see and touch all the time and some can get put away.

  12. Beth, if we loved them all the same we would have no room left in our homes for our stash.
But this quilt will be loved for itself by a very lucky little boy. It's a very snuggly hug. Selina

  13. It doesn't matter what the maker thinks of the quilt... only what the recipient thinks. (I have trouble with the cool colors, too. If it's a quilt I love, it is probably mostly warm colors.)
    Hugs,

  14. No, not boring; it's sweet :) Love all my quilts the same, no, I don't. Some of them even get my pity.

  15. I think it looks very soft and cozy. I tend to get tired of my quilts as I finish them, though not all the time, but I may love them again later.
