D4P in blue

I love being greeted by this cheery table runner
every time I walk in the door.
It makes me smile.
I smile MORE when the table is clean, of course!! ;)

I thought I'd make one in BLUE for a friend's birthday.
But......
I couldn't remember exactly HOW I did it!
:/

Thank goodness for my TUTORIAL list!!!
------>
I think it's kind of FUNNY that I need to be told
HOW to make something I JUST made a couple of months ago!!!
LOL!!!!
This one is listed under Disappearing 4 patch.

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgets things! And I love your D4P's..you are so fabulous at them! Love your great colors for July, too. You have altogether so much much quilting fun, I always enjoy my visits here :)

  2. I understand forgetting patterns only too well. I designed a new shawl pattern about a month ago, and now have to refer to my instructions because I've totally forgotten what I did.

Eh, our minds are just filled up with too much good stuff to remember. (Sounds good, doesn't it?)

  4. Lovely Beth. I did a practice block using your tut. On Monday I used it to make a tray mat for my elderly Aunt.(will post on my blog) She loves it. Esp the little dog from Patsy May. Must try one of your table runners too. Thanks.

  5. Looks good Beth!

Did you just pillow-case turn it? My aunt has a short, partial wall in her entry & she puts a runner on it, since keys & stuff always end up there. I think I'll make her one (or 2) of these so she can change it out.

    Thanks for the great idea!!!

  7. That's funny. It happens to the best of us. The table runners are so cute. I'm actually working on the same block. It's very easy and the blocks turn out looking great.

    Thanks for posting the tutorial
