Welcome a new friend!

Meet our newest SEWING SISTER!!!
Welcome to the fold Brianna!

She sat in front of a sewing machine
FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY!!!!
Do I hear a WOO HOO?????
She was able to sew some squares together
get the border half way on
JUST in ONE morning!!!!

I'm so happy I had something for her to work on!
She came to WATCH.....
But..... you can't just WATCH at MY HOUSE!!!
No way!

She was SO proud.
If you ALL CLAP and YELL.....
she might hear you!!!
I think she may have caught the sewing bug!
;)

Another quilter in our "sisterhood" put this together
for her daughter's teacher.
Deadline: NEXT week!!
Isn't it beatiful???
The teacher receiving this has an "IN" with NASA.
In fact, Jenn's daughter was able to present
a project to them on the phone TODAY!!!!

A VERY appropriate quilt for a
SPACE TEACHER!!!!
Don't you think?

Then, we have the FUTURE quilter in our midst.
She's really good at
placing 3" squares in pleasing arrangements,
making beaded jewelry,
and
putting pins back in the pin cushion!!!
Oh!!!!
I love Thursday Mornings!

  8. Wow.. she jumped in with both feet. I'm so impressed with how much Brianna got done in one sitting. That's enough to keep her coming back. The teacher's quilt is wonderful!! She will love it. And you are starting quilters very young... good for you.
