Crazy Quilt

Here is a crazy quilt I made and sent to the Alliance for the American Quilt Organization. It was lots of fun to do all that doodling with thread, ribbons and beads!
If you want to see some more LOVELY crazy quilts, go to their website!
One fun thing about this little quilt is that almost all the fabric came from a prom dress swap organized by an Orange County Quilt Guild member.
Imagine prom dresses all over the tables....quilters with scissors....and bags to fill!
FUN! FUN! FUN!
Happy Quilting!

  3. How much extra time did you spend on each square? Wow, that is detail!

  4. Okay, I didn't look as closely as I should have. No squares, it is all one. But still, so much detail!

  5. Okay, just looked at the site you mentioned. You sent them TWO! The other one is beautiful, too. I love the way you added little beads for detail. Isn't life all in details? (or something like that) ;)

  6. jennifer - thanks for the kind comments. the crazy quilts are only 12" square, so it was a fun little project. Not like the big crazy quilts some people make!
